THE BO-KEYS are IN THE STUDIO
The Bo-Keys are currently hard at work on a new studio album that
explores the intersections of country, folk and soul music, with
interpretations of songs by Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan
and Ray Price. It is planned for release later this year.
MLK JR DAY WITH SAM MOORE
In February the band had the honor of performing with legendary Soul
Man, Sam Moore, at the annual MLK Jr Day Memphis Grizzlies NBA game.

John Németh's Memphis Grease, recorded at Electraphonic, received a
2015 Blues Music Award for Best Soul Blues Album and John Németh and

Memphis soul group The BO-KEYS team up with vocalist PERCY WIGGINS to bring you a double shot of Memphis Soul and R&B.
PERCY WIGGINS, who cut classic Northern Soul sides in the 60s for ATCO and RCA with a Nashville studio band including Billy Cox and Larry Lee who later went on to become members of Jimmy Hendrix’s Band of Gypies, is featured on two original songs penned by the BO-KEYS and WIGGINS. The Bobby “Blue” Bland inspired, R&B of “WRITING ON THE WALL” and the Southern Soul ballad, “I’M STILL IN NEED”.

The Bo-Keys - kings of Memphis soul/funk/rhythm & blues who combine young hotshot players with veterans of Stax/Volt and Hi Records - are raoring back with a new album that's deep in the pocket. guest vocalists include Stax artist William Bell, blues great Charlie Musselwhite, soul/gospel master Otis Clay, and Northern soul favorite Percy Wiggins - recorded at Electraphonic Recording in Memphis on analog equipment.
Cyndi Lauper records newest record at Electraphonic Recording
Cyndi Lauper came to Electraphonic Recording in March to record an album of blues material for Downtown Records which will be released on June 22. Cyndi Lauper and Scott Bomar produced the record and put together an ace studio band and an amazing lineup of guests including B.B. King, Allan Toussaint, Charlie Musselwhite, Johnny Lang, Ann Peebles, Kenny Brown and Amy Lavere.
